New features for API users when sending e-invoices to Serbia

As of 1. 7. 2025 in Serbia, new requirements for issuing electronic invoices through the SEF system come into effect, which will primarily affect API users. The main changes include:

  • Compliance with new rules from the Electronic Invoicing Regulation (Article 14, Point 3).

  • Mandatory links and additional fields for documents on amount increases/decreases.

  • Technical adjustments to the API interface.

The bizBox platform is already connected to Serbia’s national system (SEF), so you can seamlessly send e-invoices and other documents to Serbian public administration and companies through us.

We have already successfully implemented all test adjustments on bizBox. We advise API users to review the technical documentation and adapt their programs in a timely manner.
