Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between EDI storage and integrated storage?
EDI storage is intended for users of the bizBox platform who exchange documents such as e-invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes. Documents are automatically stored in the eStore without any additional steps, with a pre-set classification plan – fast, easy and without the need for customisation.
Integrated storage provides secure storage for all types of electronic documents, with the possibility to customise the classification plan, manage access and integrate with existing information systems. It is designed for organisations that want to manage documents comprehensively throughout their entire lifecycle.
What is the retention period for documents in EDI and integrated storage?
The retention period of documents in eHramba.si, regardless of whether it is EDI retention or integrated retention, is determined by a classification schedule based on the applicable legislation and the business needs of the individual user. For example, for invoices, the statutory retention period is 10 years, as laid down in the VAT Act-1.
What is a classification plan?
A classification plan is a system for classifying documents according to their content and is the basis for orderly storage and for setting retention periods.
How is the security of my documents in the eStore handled and what happens in the event of a security incident?
eHastorage provides secure electronic storage of documents using certified procedures, multi-level access control and backup copies, which are stored in four geographically separate locations in Slovenia, providing a high level of protection against data loss. And in the event of a security incident, proven procedures are in place for rapid response, remediation and prevention of recurrence, ensuring our clients reliability and complete control over their documents.
